WHO WE ARE
The Council On Drug Abuse (CODA) is a charitable, non-profit organization that has sponsored and continues to sponsor preventive alcohol and other drug education programs in schools for students, teachers and parents.
Each year, CODA touches the lives of thousands of students, teachers and parents in Ontario and beyond. Case studies and testimonials bear this out. CODA receives financial support from the Ministry of Health Promotion. It also relies on foundations, corporations and individuals to complement its program funding requirements.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT CODA
"Thank you for graciously reaching out to students...I don't know if I would be able to make an informed decision about it, had I not seen this presentation. I'm 16 and 90% of my friends do drugs, and I'm not in a bad crowd. I have a 93% average and a loving family, but these are the people all around me. Presentations like these reinforce my strength to say 'no' to drugs." - High School Student
"Excellent presentation - knowledgeable speaker. Thank you for the handouts to read again and again." - Parent
"Thank you. The group was interested and engaged. You didn't patronize them but rather, you challenged the group." - High School Teacher
